Do you ever remember watching those yothu Yindi music videos where they are playing at a concert and it's full of blackfellas and it looks fxcking wicked to be at? Well watching these guys on stage gave me an idea of what it would have been like to be in those crowds in the 90's. Except I had some better seats and standing space with a camera pointed directly at them.

Also, the man on the dish, well I met him at Garma the weekend before and during that time I had no idea he was the didj player for King Stingray lucky he remembered me because I've met so many people over that week and a half in the NT.
And in the final two frames we can see some of the deadly black Photographers that get to be there, not for free, but working the night to document, photographer and work this event in Darwin Humid heat 🥵
