With 10,000+ refugees in limbo surviving on temporary visas a group of peaceful protestors gathered out the front of the Department of Home Affairs in Docklands Melbourne to do what they can in support of this issue. Police had arrived outnumbering the small group as they watched in from across the road, while the local council had warned the organisers that if they were to set up a pagola it would be removed.
