Chinese New Years in China Town, Naarm-Melbourne..
Southern Chinese Lion, consists of two dancers who will rotate through their performance, being accompanied by The Big Headed Buddha (Dai Tou Fut) and using the fan it will lead the Lion and interact with the crowds of people.
The Chinese Dragon Dance (Longwu). A group of performers will use poles attached to the dragon to rhythmic circle and wave motions.
Also there is a photo in there of a fellow photographer friend @tyr.xplorer who I have seen at more events in Australia than others with a goal of documenting as many/all Australian Cultural Events!
