Last nights Labor event for the Durack Candidate Karen Wheatland.
Durack is the largest Electorate in Australia stretching from Jambinu (Geraldton) in the south above Perth to the North Territory Border and has three major towns or Geraldton, Port Hedland and Broome and minor towns of Carnarvon, Karratha, Kunnunara, Meekatharra and Newman. Covering 1.4 million square kilometers with 140,000 eligible voters.
This Electorate has been a Liberal hold out in the senate for the last 15 years held by Melissa Price.
