@shamaiah_sullivan is one of many Indigenous Models walking the runways in Naarm.
I read a story from back home a while ago about the indigenous men and women in Jambinu (Geraldton). The author shared his observation of a little elderly Yamaji man and woman struggling to cross a road in the middle of Jambinu (Geraldton) because of the horse and cart that were travelling up and down the main road. Iirc the story read that they were escaping and lost in this frantic daddy passed city and busy word and they were two long term couples trying to get away I can only imagine how the world changed around them so much with the introduction of boats, wharfs, ships, cars, buildings on to Yamaji Barna (Barna).
I think of that elderly couple when I walk through the streets of Naarm or any major city or when I see other Indigenous People on their own journeys.
Back to my point, I thought of those elderly couple when I saw Shamaiah and her mother walking through the streets of Naarm and I had already assumed they were going to the same place I was going but I'm glad Shamaiahs mother approached me and had a good Yarn.
