I love people and I love being around people but photography for me personally is a lonely experience, not that I am lonely doing it but that I want to do it alone, in silence, observing and listening. I prefer my own company while behind the lens. Focusing, observing and just being able to switch off.
These are a series of portraits of a Korean Monk I met while living in Sydney who if memory serves correctly, used to make meditation video clips around the city and other places in the world.
